FS19 (-5%) in GA
Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA
Thanks Jeff. I’ll be using some bags tomorrow.
Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA
Got one interior chine joint filleted and taped yesterday. Temperature will be 40 degrees colder tomorrow morning than this morning so I held off on epoxy work today. Boat’s sitting with transom and base line level on the trailer which is without wheels, up on blocks and reinforced with a number of temporary cradles.

Good stuff Guy!!! Jeff

It really feels big now that I’m working on the upright hull. Getting down to the high 30’s so switched to fast hardener and applying some heat. I like doing this glass work where it will be beneath the sole with no sanding/finishing required.

Nice! Yes it does feel big when you have to climb in and out. Good clean work. After fairing, sanding and painting it is a relief to have a break from it for a little while.
Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA
I think I’d like the look better if the top of the transom was built up to match the thickness with the clamping boards. I’d laminate these pieces in place before I lay up two layers of glass. Does anyone know any reason I should NOT do this besides a little extra weight?
Re: FS19 (-5%) in GA
I agree with you GuyP, I'd add them.
That weight add is nothing.
