Tom thanks for the prop help. Your size recommendation to this novice was right on.

75 degrees this afternoon in middle Georgia. A fine day to open her up for the first time. Topped out at 6000 rpm and 36.2 mph. She handled nicely.

Repetitive but the complete spread is:

1000 rpm at idle and 3 mph in gear
2500 rpm up on plane with two adults on board
3000 rpm 18 mph with one or two adults
4000 rpm 25 mph with only driver
5000 rpm 30 mph with only driver
5700 rpm 35 mph with only driver
6000 rpm 36.2 mph with only driver

2021 Suzuki 90, 14 x 20 stainless steel prop

5 hours run time has used about 8 gallons of fuel. First three hours were keeping her under 3000 rpm.

Next time I have her on a trailer I’ll try to have her weighed.

Sounds perfect Guy. Can't do much better than that. Looks like a perfect cruise between 3500 and 4500rpms. And your reaching max rpms. :D Once you get her broken in things might get a little better. I really like Suzuki motors.

Thanks Tom. 4000 rpm/25 mph did feel nice and 3000 rpm/17 mph was a good leisurely cruse too. She’s going to be catching fish in about a month and hauling skiers a couple months later.

Scrappy, thanks for checking her out and you kind comments. She has not disappointed. Four adults and a 3 year old in her today and I believe there was power to spare. I’m about to post some speed/rpm numbers with a full load of folks.

The first non-spouse riders. 2 1/2 year old grandson LOVES it! These mph results are just 1 to 1 1/2 lower than the lighter loaded trial.

After 9 hours run time
3000 rpm 16.5 mph with 4 adults and one child
4000 rpm 24 mph with 4 adults and one child
5900 rpm was wide open with the above load (mph data not collected)
Gets up and goes easily, handles nicely.

Sounds like the boat is running well for you. Nice to be able to get out and go this time of the year.

Nice Guy I would consider her dialed in and not worry about changing anything. Just enjoy her from here on out. :D Nice looking grandson also, your getting him started right.
