SPLASH DAY, Jan 6, 2021
The crowd of onlookers was slim due to covid and January weather. New motor break in limited me to half throttle, 3000rpm and about 20mph. She’s smooth, stable, planes well, quiet (my first 4 stroke), handles waves nicely, and satisfied with bow hight on plane. Have about an hour more run time before opening her up over 3000rpm. Feels like it’s gonna FLY. More photos will be available when my Google Photos shared album finishes downloading.

That is one good looking boat. I am sure as soon as people are out it will attract lots of questions and praise. Well when you are at the dock that is, with that much power not too many folks will be running you down to ask questions

Short video with Lyn at the helm is at 3000rpm, half throttle, the top break in speed that day.

Yep if that video was at 3000 rpm she is going to flat out haul at wide open.
It is great to see your better half enjoying running the boat. Nothing better than having them involved in the project.

Another cold hour of break in on the water, now can run 4000 RPM which is a confirmed 25 mph. After another hour I can open her up to 6000 RPM which is going to be way too fast for this Guy.

Guy that is really great looking good. Which lake are you on down there. I'm just over the boarder in NC. It is cold up here in the mountains. Document your performance. Speed at rpm so we know what that boat can do with your 90 Suzuki motor. :D
