Jacques,

The engine shaft length is 508mm. Yes I believe we can get brackets if needed.

That's a 20" shaft in the US, good.
Yes to the brackets, that is the easiest and strongest way to handle this.
I will sketch some transom knees and a clamping board. Give me a couple of days.

Any luck with these yet Jacques?

Also, I guess we'll still need to build the engine pod? Does it play any part in holding the boat together?
