underside of Poyester Resin casting deck

Repairing underside of Polyester Resin Carolina Skiff Casting Deck. Using marine plywood on underside. Will mixture of epoxy and wood flour bond to the casting deck when clean and dry?

It should bond, but it is important to prepare the surface well. Wash and then scuff up the surface with sandpaper, followed by another wash. I would also advise precoating the plywood with neat epoxy prior to adhering with the epoxy/woodflour mix. Some type of light clamping pressure will be needed until the epoxy cures.
