Quick fair issues
Re: Quick fair issues
I find it easier to work if when it's pretty warm, I use a crockpot with water on low, and I use 1oz batch sizes, easier to mix with my arthritic wrists. I brush, vacuum and then wipe surfaces with a water-damp cloth, allow to dry for a few hours, so far so good. All that ssid, it may be hard to find anyone with less natural skill at fairing than myself, was not a gift I was blessed with. I'm just giving myself the month of jan to fair the hull. Whatever it looks like on the 31st is what it will look like forever.
There are only two seasons in Vermont: boating season, and boat-building season.

Technically, 1.43 oz. Batches mixed, I use a kitchen scale to mix by weight, extremely easy.
