CX19 BOM Questions

Post by SDyeti »

Just purchased the plans for the CX19 yesterday and I can't seem to reconcile the BOM to what I'm seeing in the plans for the quantities of plywood. The BOM says 6mm x 8 pieces, 9mm x 17, and 12mm x 2. What I'm seeing in the plans is along the lines of 6mm x 15 pieces, 9mm x 13, and 12mm x 2. Where am I going wrong here?

Further breakdown as I'm seeing it:
Hull Bottom looks to 4 sheets of 6mm for both sides. The two bow tip sections coming out of the left overs form the middle sheets.
Hull sides looks to be 5 sheets of 6mm for both sides.
Cabin top/sides, deck, and console looks to be 6 sheets of 6mm per the nesting drawing.
15 sheets of 6mm so far.

Bulkheads look to be 5 sheets of 9mm. A coming for the leftovers of B, C is two sheets, D and E a single sheet a piece.
Transom is 2 sheets of 9mm.
Stringers come from 4 sheets.
Interior seating 2 sheets.
13 sheets of 9mm

The 2 sheets of 12mm sem to make sense.

What am I missing? Seems like a bunch more than the BOM lists.
