Stitch & glue, eh?

Glad to have you back. Two months in a cast doesn't sound like fun. Best wishes for the duration!

Best wishes to you Jacques. Sounds like a really bad injury and some amazing surgery. My wife broke her knee cap years ago and had to go 6 months in a straight leg brace so I know it's not easy.

Glad to hear from you Jacques as I Hunt and peck. Had my first pre op visit on my shoulder and thumb. Looks like all is going well. You do what the docs tell you. It is hell to get old and banged up, but we can heal and be better also.

Fuzz and Karl, as fellow members of the Bateau2 CLOOF Club, I humbly suggest we offer Jacques Mertens-Goossens the first honorary life membership of our Club.

Jacques, I've got no doubt your durability and grit in overcoming your recent mishap makes you eligible for life membership of the Bateau2 Clapped Out Old Farts Club.

Speedy recovery Jacques, and all the best. :D
