transducer chase tube size?

Post by BrianC »

Several folks here have recommended a separate chase tube for the sonar transducer cable. What I.D. chase tube should I use to be sure that the connector will pass through the tube? I have a Garmin right now and a 3/4" I.D. tube works fine (including the 90° elbow) but I don't know the size of other brands and I want to have options later. Thanks

I ran a separate 1.5" tube for mine. No way would my lowrance plug fit through 3/4" and the 1" curve looked like it might bind.
Built: 15ft Skiff, 16ft Skiff, Modified Cheap Canoe, and an FS17.
