GF-16 Seat Frame Placement

Just started cutting out parts for my GF16 (first build). Possibly a dumb question but when marking out the locations for the seat frames - do I mark the measurements along the top (straight) sheer and then mark lines 90 degrees to the sheer at these points and align the frames with these lines? I hope this question makes sense.

Cheers!

Dave welcome to the group. Glad you caught the virus. :D I have the plans somewhere around the house here, but not sure where. Hopefully one of the other builders will answer shortly. The GF16 is a great boat. Have been out 5 miles in the Gulf of Mexico in it and my buddy used it a lot in the Savannah, GA area for saltwater fishing, even caught a big Tarpon in it.

Thanks Tom,

I'm looking forward to the build. If there's any interest I'd be happy to start a thread on the build, at the moment I am busy cutting out all the parts and waiting for my epoxy supplies to arrive.

Cheers,

Dave

I'll have to double check to be exact but look at page 1 on the large sheets. It shows it from the baseline IIRC, not the shear.
