Fs 14

Post by jmoss »

On the FS14 I am trying to attach the bottom to the side Panels and my question is do the side panels sit on top of the bottom or does the bottom fit inside of the panels?

Thanks fellas, needed that input. Can you tell me if the rub rail needs to be made from marine grade plywood?

Actually neither, you want a gap between the two so that you can put some epoxy glue between them. Remember gaps are good and always leave one.

If you haven't done it yet, I'd suggest you go look at the tutorials and FAQ's here, they contain a lot of helpful information. Good luck with your build, it's new to you but you'll find plenty of help in the builder's threads, along with photos of how they did it.
