2017 Southeast builder's meet at River Palms Cottage OCT 13-14th
Are there any plans for a meet this year? I might try to swing by if it's not to far away and get some ideas for my upcoming project.
Built: 15ft Skiff, 16ft Skiff, Modified Cheap Canoe, and an FS17.
Re: 2017 Southeast builder's meet
As of right now the meet will be in the Florida Keys in October. I'll be coming from NC, others from all over FL. If your in Lakeland there should be plenty of builders within a short drive of you.

Re: 2017 Southeast builder's meet
I take a Keys vacation every October. It's my favorite time to be there, no crowds, the lobster grounds start to recover from the craziness that is mini season. Hotels are at non-peak rates. Oh yea it's also hurricane season .

The Keys sound nice, not sure if I can swing it but I'll keep it in mind. Where do you guys stay? La jolla?

Hey All,
I am glad to see several of you are talking about the Builder's Meet for 2017! Jeff and I have been discussing some ideas in the office lately and wanted to get your feedback. We would like to keep the tradition alive and even grow the meet a little if we could. As for this year's meet in October we were thinking of hosting the meet at River Palm Cottages & Fish Camp in Jensen Beach, FL. This is fairly centralized Florida location that is situated right on the Indian River (ICW). There are cottages to rent and plenty of dock space for the boats. Fishing is awesome, with tons of inshore options as well as being a couple of miles from the St. Lucie Inlet. The West Palm Beach International Airport only an hour or less away for those who would be flying in.

Please give us your thoughts. We are definitely looking forward to this event again!!!
