Super job, Bernd!! Great looking GF, the white really shows her off. Looks good moving through water. Let us know performance information once you get the motor broken in.
Keep on Buildin'

Re: GF16 rebuild with center console 25Hp Suzuki
Hi @ all,
I tested the boat without a hydrofoil and with the wrong prop (I believe) . The wrong prop means it has a pitch of 11 and the rev limiter showed me 5700 rpm instead of 5200 Suzuki says. The engines cavitation plate is about 4,5 cm below the keel line.
With this hardware , 10kg battery, anchor 6kg, 25litres gas stainless steel hardware (about 10kg) me (90kg) and my daughter (50kg) 5kg soft drink boat weight (about 210kg) .......upstream 20mph.
Next test is with the SE200 with sport clip. After this with another prop....12 or 13 pitch.
A Suzuki dealer told me that the standard prop with 11 pitch is there because of design for heavier boats to come out of the hole. For my boat it has too low pitch. The phenomenom of the rev limiter who displays 5700...5800 was discussed here:

I'm sure then I have changed my prop the Gf will go very fast. BTW this engine has a nice sound and the fuel consumption is very low - not comparable to my 2 stroke monster. I was very surprised of the torque of the Suzuki Df V Twin...quite good ! The electric starter is a nice feature too....just a part of a second and the engine works.
I'm happy with my Suzi.
Bye
Bernd
