This little rowing boat was the first boat I built and was the test before I started building an Adelie 14.
I made enough mistakes:
1. I used locally available birch plywood 6.5 mm instead of light weight okoume ( 6 mm ) according to the plan.
The hull weight of 28 kg I exceeded by 15 Kg.
2. I used too much resin when I fiber glassed the outside of the hull.
3. I was not very good at sanding and fairing.
But all in all I am satisfied with the test and I am glad it rows very well.
Here are a few pictures

Hi,
I copied the side loading system from a late American J.Dobler who had it patented in the 1980 s.
Greetings from Karl ( Austria )
