Boy did Jacques and I open up a can of worms when we came up with this design. The mind does some strange things. I have seen a lot of dif. ideas but this one is awsome. My hats off to you. Great looking job.

Yes, I remember. I first refused to design it thinking that nobody would ever buy plans for such a weird thing.

Thanks Guys! That means a lot coming from builders of your caliber. I loved my old XF20 but she just caught a little too much wind so I cut down on the freeboard / profile so she would push better (Her new owner is decking her out in Daytona). I did scale the tunnel up and it works great. This thing holds on plane at 10-15 MPH and the prop still sticks. I think I can get the prop up another inch with a shim. Just made two design mistakes. First was I only had a 1/2" of rocker and didn't give enough transom angle so I added 5 degree wedges from Bob's to keep the porpoise-ing down when I fish solo (not an issue with 2 people). The 2nd thing I didn't account for was that the draft is so shallow that the scupper ping pong balls only seal a moment after a wave actually pushes them up. So if I anchor stern to the wind a little bit of water comes right to the height of the sole. If there's a next time I will make the sole a 1/2" taller. When I first started it my idea was a XF20 Stump Knocker hybrid. I just couldn't get the 3/8 to bend enough to get the 76" beam. So this is what I came up with.
Thanks Again!

First Fish in the boat to christen it.
