Finally finished the boat and got all of the little things taken care of:
Finally a shot to show the shallows in the Mosquito Lagoon that I built the boat in mind with (roughly 4" deep):

Great job! I really like the transom.

Beautiful and yes, the varnished transom is a nice touch.

Thanks for the kind words and great support on the forum! The only bad part now is the decision for which one next, although at least I have this one to keep my busy while I decide/build.

Great job. Your boat is awesome. I just bought the cnc kit for this boat too. I have no idea what I am doing. Studying other people's projects. Are you a pro?

Thank for the compliments, but I have to laugh at the pro comment. This was my first large scale project and I learned a LOT, mostly what not to do. Best advice I can give you is read the study plans, look at other peoples builds and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Also accept the fact that you will make mistakes and have to re-do some things. That's not a bad thing though, just gives you extra practice.
I know a lot of people say the best part is when you first float the boat, to me it was seeing it take shape. It was flat wood and then about an hour later a boat, that was the best and most rewarding part in my opinion. You'll have a blast and make sure to ask as many questions as you want, this is a really great and helpful forum.
