I haven't logged in here in a while but had to when I saw your boat - very well done!

Like others said, beautiful! Do you have any photos looking toward the bow? I'd like to see your console and casting deck step. How did you do the sole?

Thank you very much everyone! The sole is Iroko or African Teak. It was about half the cost as genuine Teak. Fitting it, caulking and sanding it was a lot more work than I thought it would be. The motor is a Yamaha 70 4 stroke. I put a lot of extra weight into the boat with both cast decks and sole. So far I’ve had it up to 33mph, but haven’t pushed it all the way yet while still breaking it in.

Do you have pics of the console construction? I'm really interested in how you made those sexy curves.

I mocked it up with cardboard first. All the curves are 1 inch pieces ripped to make the shape. I put filler in between the gaps to strengthen it. I routed the outside edges and orbit sanded the rest to knock down the long edges. Then glassed and faired. I put a cubby facing the driver for a USB port, running light toggle switch and DC power. The top of the console has a spot to hold small things while I’m fishing like lures or pliers that I want easy access to.
