Finally got around to launching the Scilly gig. Everything went perfectly, rooftop carrying rig excellent, wheels easy to use.
Very, very happy with how she rows- I haven't rowed in around 15 years, and she just wants to move.
You can see why I went with something a little larger than a recreational shell, I'm a decent sized guy. Need to move the oarlocks back, but not too far, just a little choked up on the handles at the moment.
