I am plan holder of the cat 22.
I am drawing frame patterns and would like to verify one dimension.
If i can describe it please, Frame A, plan dimension shows 12 1/4 in. This is where topside panel joins the frame.
Is this dimension correct?
Thank you for your time taken to verify.

I thought that had been corrected years ago but that dimension does not make sense: it goes from one corner to somewhere off the frame. Ypu can't draw the frame that way.
It should be 6-1/4".

Sorry for that typo, I will check the print files and correct them.

I'm a lurker on the cat pages. What do you intend to power her with and if you use twin four strok 90s, was the transom planned for those beasts? I would imagine twin 90 horse four strokers would be massively heavy on that small and light hull, but could be done.

Jacques-did you spec a motor weight for this boat? Two 90 horse four strokes are like 800 pounds...

Just curious.

For the op, not meaning to hijack, just help. If the boat was spec'd for two 90 horse two strokes, you might be able to get really great performance from the hull with twin Yammie 70s because they are lightest in class by about 100# each. Going up to 90hp adds at least 100 pounds per motor in Yamaha; the other guys aren't even close.

All the best to you both and sorry if I'm an idiot on it.

I confused it with the other 22' cat...my mistake. Good luck with it.
