I finally cut some PVC pipe clamps....
I used the thin walled 1.25" dia.irrigation pipe I had laying around.
I'm hooked, going to make some bigger ones and smaller ones.
I think the thin walled has less pressure and is better for clamping epoxy.
Wish I had tried these earlier on the SandPiper build.

Just be aware after a few good uses they start quickly losing clamp pressure.
Built: 15ft Skiff, 16ft Skiff, Modified Cheap Canoe, and an FS17.

The thin wall ones do.... Just found out!
Much cheaper the buying the real ones.
Maybe drill a hole and put a wing nut and bolt in..

I used 3" schedule 40. They worked well for doing the rubrails, but ultimately I ended up buying more spring clamps.
