Whatever you do, don't mix tequila with boatbuilding.

Really bright light that stays where you point it.
Nice small metal ruler with English and metric scales because tape measures are a pain sometimes.
Long straightedge.
Oscillating tool blades tons of them.
And an old sliding glass door for wetout of glass.
And lots of disposable income and a dust deputy and understanding neighbors and an understanding wife, boss, children, and buddies strong buddies that don't like to be paid for helping flip boats.

Scrapers or an old blade from a block plain. You can shave down lumps and bumps with out dust. And a good hone to keep it razor sharp.

I used the Shinto saw rasp a lot for that. Surform works too.

Somebody probably has listed it. The life saver to me was a big box store 3M respirator. Take care of yourself around the tools and materials. Safety first. The rest will fall into place. Build on!

I'll also plug the full face respirator. I was surprised to find it much more comfortable than the 1/2 face one plus goggles. Even the great Cracker suffered from an allergic reaction to epoxy eventually.

Dust deputy is really great, too, only I didn't buy and install mine until after the build.

Enough rum and... you still need respirator
