Insurance for Sport boat 18 Lady C

I was planning to leave my boat in a marina for the nice season. The marina I found wants me to have an insurance for liability only, for $300,000. I have contacted my insurance company AAA, but they refuse to insure my boat since she is built by a non-recognized builder... I have then asked Boat US, but I need to do a boat inspection with a recognized Marine Surveyor and this costs more than the boat itself!

Could any one recommend an insurance company that wants to insure for liability only my litle sail boat?

Look for another insurance company.
It's ridiculous, you only want to insure liability.

I had a marine survey done in order to get insurance. I paid $150.
