Richard, was the GF12 barefoot friendly under Florida's sun?
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

Anyone use soft sand ever?
You could use a ceramic matte paint maybe..

The gray kiwi didn’t seem hot to me...but I have Florida cracker asbestos feet.
Sent a text to my son for his opinion, haven’t heard back yet.
The sand or non skid additives in paint work fine but they tend to look blotchy to me.
If heat is a concern with the gray, cut it 50/50 with white...
