Ken may God bless you and comfort your wife for as many days as she has left with you. It is very hard and I am so glad you had the assistance of hospice. They are wonderful people. Losing a loved one makes us realize how we really felt about them.
God bless and will keep you in my prayers.

Eric, Shirley is fine, I was referring to Stickystuff and trying to take to heart his point of cherishing those we love day to day.

Ken I am feeling with you and hope that lots more of us in this forum give solace to you.
We always think our boat building is so important but pausing and thinking of you and your wife is much more important. I am sure all your friends here in the forum will do that.

WOW. What a bunch of friends. Some of you I have met and some I have never met, but read all your posts. It is amazing how COPD Worksss. After 3 weeks in rehab my wife said she will never go back. If it comes down to the time to check out she will be at home. It is awsom how she has turned around and started to live like a human being again. She is on oxygen full time. Has got most of her strength back. Able to walk around a little. Can't spend a lot of time under the heat of the day. She is able to get in the car and go for a ride. Being kept up to bed rest ain't as much fun as slinging rocks ata tin can. All is as good as it gets for now. It is just a matter of time. We take one day at a time. Thanks for all the well wishes. It means a lot to me.
