For NFloyd who has an interest in my Pursuit hinged console.
This the helm side of the 2670 Pursuit. The gimbal knobs are removed and are sitting on what would be my seat but it’s removed for reconstructing.
Bracket where the gimbal knob attaches and stay cables.
Miscellaneous inside console pics. If you need more closeups, give me a heads up. It was crazy today...
Ridiculously easy access to the helm wiring and hydraulic steering...
Jacques, thank you for your input designing this boat, it’s a masterpiece in my humble opinion...

Richard, I was hoping to get a close-up pic of the switch that operates the windlass

I take it you didn’t like my old anchor system?majorgator wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 8:32 pm Richard, I was hoping to get a close-up pic of the switch that operates the windlass
The switch pic is a little blurry but I promise it works.
Also, new Etec G2’s motors...

Re: Hinged console
Man it is going to take some time to get used to the new transom look..
Re: Hinged console
Congrats AA, great looking motors!!! Jeff
Re: Hinged console
Wow, those new etecs look amazing. I run a 30hp etec on the Nina LB22 and have had some very annoying troubles with water pump and fuel pump failures. Soured me a bit but I seem to have that sorted now. It's an issue with the little 30hp. Dang thing has no port for a water pressure gauge. Once my impellor disintegrated and the other time dang little packer bugs (local term) stuffed up the intake water line. Both times the computer shut the motor down before I got a horn, so I didn't know what was wrong and kept trying to restart it. The fuel pump fried both times somehow. I watch for good water flow like a hawk now. You won't have those issues on those beauties though.

Fuzz, yes the Etec’s look a little weird back there. If the darn things work, I’ll get used to the look.
Doug, I hope I have good luck. I’ve not run the boat yet, still tinkering.
Thanks Jeff!
Cvincent, yes the G2’s have integrated power steering. Also the shift and throttle is electric, no cables.
The way the Evinrude controls work is a little different than the “fly by wire” Yamaha platform.

I didn't have any problems with the old system...but the new system looks much more user-friendlyAripeka Angler wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 10:18 pmI take it you didn’t like my old anchor system?majorgator wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 8:32 pm Richard, I was hoping to get a close-up pic of the switch that operates the windlass
