Boat builder central grab bars

Can the grab bar available on the boat builder central website fit a cooler between the braces?

It states they are 16" wide, so a 16 " wide cooler will fit.

I have one. That 16' must be an outside dimension. My inside dimension is 14.5" and my little coleman cooler fits through easily.
