Rigging hose tricks?

Post by fallguy1000 »

Anyone have any ideas how to keep my rigging hoses from making rubmarks?

Chafing guard?

I’ll see if I can get a picture with manufacturer info, but I’ve seen neoprene sleeves on some of the boats that have come in. Not sure how they are typically attach. May require disconnecting and slipping over.

I’m on the docks tomorrow so hopefully something then.

I’ve never seen them secured. I’ll look around this weekend. We have a big club and a couple hundred extra boats. A couple big cats this weekend as well. Maybe I will see something that will work for you.

The ones I recall were not sealed. I expect there is something that prevents water ingress. I’ll look for answer to that as well.

I used the cable boot in the first link. Not water proof but not a problem either.
