Lm18 scaled down

Post by Reklus »

I know the general rule is +- 10% but scaling the LM18 down 11% would put me right at 16' with 4-9" beam ... Would this be an issue if I don't intend on having a tunnel ?

Would a 10% scaled down LM18 remain self bailing?

Probably not. It all depends on the weight. It may self bail empty at the dock. In all cases, it will still be unsinkable with the correct amount of foam.

May I ask what is the maximum BOTTOM beam of the LM18? I mean beam in the water.
