I know, I didn't expect the otter to be as fast or perform as well as a Corsair or AR but. I am looking at it more as a transportation thing than a sport recreational boat. Because I got buddies that like spearfishing, snorkeling etc. and I might want to sail to a local reef relax, and not hiking and having a friend on a trapeze.

So I am just wondering if the Otter moves well with sail, because it is a row boat.

The Otter is a row boat first. I would call it a "sail assisted" boat. The sail will bring you back home when you are tired of rowing.
