OB19 with single side-console?

Is it OK to build just one side console, or are both structural elements?

OB19 with single side-console?

John M.,

I think the OB 19 with one side console would be a great fishing boat. A little higher and longer than the phantom 18. A little more "chop worthy". But not so high as to blow around in the wind. Keep it light and the draft will still be small enough to "pole around".

Jim

yup, i agree jim. i don´t really think the passenger side console is necessary for me. i like the bow seats/bunks. i visualize a passenger side seat w/o console, passenger can kick feet up on the bow seat in front of him/her. good for fishing, scuba, waterskiing, cruising around.
(note: my gv11 interior will be finished in a couple months after i take care of some things, and in the mean time, i´m enjoying watching all the new designs roll out here).
