Resale issues with homebuilt boats?
I´ve had a dozen or more boats, built 2 or
3 of them. I´ve come to the conclusion, that
to go to all the effort (& pleasure) it takes
to build one´s own boat - the design should
be such - that one can´t readily buy the SAME
boat on the commercial market. Or at least
one can´t afford to buy it. Examples -
a "cruiser´s power boat", "a grand sailboat",
a "high utility fishing boat" .......................

For me, the new "GT Cruiser", might just be one such design!

It should offer something special, some features, some form that is hard to find. Or at least one should try to build that into the finished boat! Then just use it, enjoy it, get a lot of utility out of it! Then, many moons later -
when you might want to sell it - it should be
special enough to make interested parties
- interested! Cookie-cutter boats, are
often considered a dime a dozen!
