GT Cruiser (GT23) Questions

Post by ncsailors »

Before ordering the new GT-23 Cruiser Plans -
have a couple questions:

a. Does the MAIN CABIN - have a raised floor,
over & above the actual hull bottom?
(maybe they call this a CABIN SOLE?)

b. In what boat sections, would one install
FOAM FLOTATION? Main cabin, front cockpit, and/or rear cockpit?

c. Seems like the forward & rear cockpits,
have floors "higher" than the main cabin -
how does one keep sea water out
(of main cabin)?

d. Is there any help in plans, or elsewhere,
for how-to construct the "foam-based"
SANDWICH COMPOSITE sections? (for pilot
house area)

e. Where would a BILGE PUMP go, in this
design?

Thanks,
Fred - chilly NC
1 Nov
