C-12 Start

I received the Meranti I ordered. I'm going to start cutting out the parts and want to know if the C-12 builders have any last words.
I've reread plans and have built the FL-11 so I am going to proceed but would be interested if there is any late breaking C-12 news that would impact my cutout. I got the $50.00 shipping even though I think I ordered late. the wood is really a cut above anything I've seen.

That wood is really a cut above? I don't know about anyone else, but I smell a pun!

JohnP, with your experience building the FL11, the building of the C12 should be easy.
The plans are out since more than a year and there are no known bugs.
It will take more time than the FL11 but the hull will go together fast. It's the sailing stuff that is labor intensive: centerboard, mast step and partner etc.
