FS18 max motor weight?

An older 50hp is likely in the same weight range as a new 25hp four stroke. Weight was the focus of my initial question, which everyone seems to have gotten away from. I never asked about overpowering the boat, I asked about weight on the transom. A 25hp four stroke is within the spec'd hp ratings, but is the weight inline with what it was initially designed for?

I answered that: 150 lbs.
You can put an heavier engine on there, the boat will trim down by the stern, that's all.
