Great work on your 1st. You and your son will really enjoy the building process. Most important thing for you and your son is to have fun and ask questions when you hit a stumbling block. Cottontop:D

Moving along pretty quickly! Looks good! :)

btw, when you link to a picture using the url that has the pos in the address, it won't work for long, because as you or more people post pictures, those pos positions change or shift or disappear altogether. so instead...

When you have your picture fullsize on your screen, on your gallery page, right click (windows) or ctrl click (mac) on the fullsize picture in order to get a popup menu choice for opening the picture in a New window. When you do that, you should see another window open with only the picture itself, and no other text or anything else around it. That, window, with ONLY the picture, has a url address also. That is the address you want to copy and paste in a posting with the img commands. That address for the picture will never change. Give it a try. :)

I just saw your picture with your link, because I looked right after you posted, but it may not be there tomorrow... :?

Are planning to cover the bottom in glass cloth?
Where will you be rowing or motoring?

Thanks for the tip on the photos. I will try it next time. I didn't glass the whole bottom just the seams. This boat is getting heave. Today I finshed with most of the bottom and move to the inside of the boat. I got on set top done. I started with the rub rail. Ran out of clamps. Going skiing next weekend so the boat will be on hold for now.

If you are already sanding, April should be easy. Use good paint, I used porch paint and will be sanding it off this year and re-painting with Intralux. Rick

Ok got the outside painted and now going to turn it over and start on the inside. I am getting ready for a great season of fishing and diving. The schooly stripers are in the canal (cape cod canal) and my poles are ready. But now after building this boat I want to rip apart my key largo and change things around the way I want it.
