That sure is a beautiful boat you've put together. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the great compliments. Its been a long 7 months. Here is a quick sketch I drew for the guy doing the aluminum work. It will be weird but nice to watch someone else doing the work for once.
Shine, I will be taking the boat to the keys at the end of May. I will contact you and stop by so you can get a better look.

Cool looking hard top. I always like the diagonal rod holders at the ends of the rocket launchers. Like these two red ones in this sketch. I use those, a lot. Just a thought.

That is awesome work.....boat show material...I would pay good money for a quality build like that....you give the production builders a run for their money, no problemo.

LOL....Most spend a year on a 17-25ft boat and have less impressive results. Very well done!jki4405 wrote:Hey everyone,

My 16ft boats has taken 2 1/2 years and I've put in a fair bit of effort, 7 months to achieve that is amazing.fishingdan wrote:LOL....Most spend a year on a 17-25ft boat and have less impressive results. Very well done!jki4405 wrote:Hey everyone,

The only problem that I see with it is that it's not standing in my driveway
Awesome work guys
Re: CS 25 Build North Carolina
Hey guys,
Thanks again!
There has def. been some multitasking taking place the last few months. Been putting in a min 40 hrs at the real job, min 50 hrs on the boat every week and im still coming up on my one year anniversary next week. haha On top of all that, im gonna be a dad at the end of July.
The nice thing about working the fast pace though is it seems like your always hitting a turning point and the build goes in stages so it doesnt feel like your always working on the same project. I never thought I wouldn't meet the deadline but also had no clue of what kind of pace I would have to keep. There were times I really thought I was ahead and could slow down further down the road but glad I didn't because its still gonna be close. Lots to check off on the punch list still.
Biggest two projects left are the hard top and im gonna have to redo the exterior fairing and paint do to some flexing between the flip and just working inside of it untill it was beefed up enough not to move around. Ow well, live and learn I guess.
Again, thanks for the comments. I will post some video footage once we hit the water.
P.S. If anyone wants some high end ideas for a boat, check out baylissboatworks.com and look at the boat Uno Mas, (the second one B11). This is where I get all my inspiration from. Im a long ways off but maybe someday.
Thanks again!
