$4 bucks? Thats pretty good.....do you need asbestos gloves to handle the paint can  ......it will cost you at least $10 for a pint of 216 thinner :? Still a cheap package overall for your project.

Think I'm going to go back and get all they had regardless of color. They had a wide selection of thinners also with the "Interlux" name on them.

Along with a stack of "happy trollers" I'm gonna get to put on ebay. :)

I have 5 or 6 quarts of Interlux thinners, rolling agent reducers and the like i need to go look at what I have and repost. Free to anybody that wants them. Just pay shipping. Not sure how to mark the packages since they may be flammable.

I think I already have at least one on my schedule. The boss keeps talking about picking up a '53 Plymouth and maybe a wrecked AMX located down there. Maybe in touch with Ken just so we can bring back something useful, too.

Pre-kote is not recommended for use under two part paints such as Sterling or Interlux Perfection, it is OK for use with one part yacht enamels or Interlux Brightsides. The reason is that the solvents in the two part paints can "eat" their way through the Prime Kote causing one big problem.
I asked System Three if it was safe to use the Silvertip High Build primer under either Sterling or Interlux Perfection on a hull that had been previously painted either with yacht enamel or Brightsides and they advised that it should be OK but to do a test patch first.
You can use Interlux Epoxy Primekote under two part finishes provided that you are not priming over a one part paint.
There is a lot of good information on International Paints website http://www.yachtpaint.com
