Duke - I just wanted to offer a word of encouragement. You're doing a great job, keep it up. Don't let the time away discourage you, it happens to quite a few of us. I just launched my boat after 18 months of building, which included a few breaks of varying length. Although it is relaxing building the boats, it's quite rewarding to finally put it on the water where it belongs.

Thanks guys for the acknowledgment. It's good to know your still here. I'm hoping to get this project on the water this summer some time.... but as we all know, life happens. Sorry to hear about your Dad Fred. cancer is a monster. My wife has had two different kinds. Thank God she is cancer free right now. There were times when I thought I might lose her.

Man I love boats

Cancer free. Praise God!

What a coincidence, I too have had two different cancers and am now cancer free (eight years). Mine were diagnosed four months apart. But, priase God, you wouldn't know I had had cancer if I didn't tell you.

Thanks Duke, feels like I'm losing too many relatives that way. This summer it was my Dad's younger brother. Glad to hear your wife is doing well.

Once we have a few more Wisconsin guys finish up some boats we should have a get together.

Duke is in his hometown of Spokane WA and loving every minute of it but..... all good things must come to an end. Kathy and Duke leave for Janesville, Wisconsin in the morning. We should be back by Sunday as we are driving. Don't like flying anymore. They have taken all the fun out of it.
Can't wait to get back to work on the Mosquito. I bought some really great items for her on this trip.
 loved not going to work for two weeks.
