OD16 - Ready for flipping the hull - Flipping Frame

Post by DrBones »

As usual... EvilDwarf put me up to this rather ingenious idea. I built a flipping frame to flip my OD16 around in my rather narrow car port. This way it ought to be fairly easy to handle the hull, which is somewhat awkward when it comes to grabbing ahold of it.

Here's an overall:

I'm really looking forward to seeing pics of your boat and EvilD's boat on the water.

How many helpers did you need to flip the boat on the "EvilD Stand"?

Just myself and two others. Just right, because I actually ended up needing someone to tip the boat over once it stood on its side. That way two of us could brace it, while the third did the tipping from the other side.

Oh: ...and I would NOT want to do without the frame! It sure made it a no fuss and fairly simple operation...no teetering, no huffing and puffing...easy! :P
