My son Harrison bought a fine glassed hull from the Cracker. After a bunch of fairing and sanding and fairing and sanding he launched her. He and his girl did most of the work 8)

Four stroke 15 hp Mercury, grey Sterling paint with grey Kiwigrip. I'm thinking mid 20's for top speed. He is on Spring break, we will try to get some numbers on speed and fuel consumption...

Nice! How many Bateau boats for your extended family now? :D Any more in the works?

We only have two Bateau boats Ross, thanks for asking :D We have the plans and wood for a Bateau kayak but haven't got it going yet. We hope to build a big boat like the one you are working on one of these days :D
