Hopefully this will work. If not, go to the gallery.

Here ya go, thought I'd help with the pictures. Putting pics up is a pain.

The boat looks great, the paint job looks excellent. I'm sure you are smiling right about now. :D

Troutlet,

Thanks for the help. I smiled all day. Unfortunately, the smiling stopped when I got it back in the garage and flipped it over. Now It's back to sanding dust and primer.

BTW: How do you get those pictures to show up in the post. I'm thinking it has something to do with the [IMG] function. Please do share with us.

Regards,

Brian

I'll try

I'll try. It's cumbersome to say the least and difficult for me to explain but here goes:

I open two browser windows both pointed at bateau2. With browser #1 I begin my post, with the browser #2 I browse to the picture I want to post. Next hit the [img] button on browser #1, then in browser #2 copy the full URL of your picture(http://blahblahblah). Go back to browser #1 and paste that url. THEN (it gets weird), go back to browser #2 and copy the code that says "copy code' (something). Now go back to browser #1 and replace the portion of the url just from the word gallery on back. Hit the [img] button again and preview it.

The problem is that when you add a picture from the message box the tag commands at the top are very tempermental. You have to use them almost perfectly or you get nothing. Then to add to it the url that you post has to point to your picture name (myboat.jpg) and not to the url eding in numbers (album=97979).

Hope I did more good than harm with that explanation. :)

Easier version?

Upload your picture to the gallery

Right click on it, then select properties

Copy the whole URL in the properties screen, then paste into your thread (I'll agree that 2 windows are useful)

Select (highlight) the url you have just pasted, then click the Img button

This should work!!!
