Garvey 13 electrical concerns

read the Faria tech guide for their tachometers....stated damage to tach by shutting off while engine still running due to voltage spike.....so, rather than arranging have the tachometer "switched" would it be a good idea to wire it to fuse box directly?....

I thought they were generally run off the 'switched' power to the engine, not a separate instrument switch. (but that goes back to what I remember from cars, your results may vary)

Power to the tach is switched by the ignition switch circuit.
Completed GF12 X 2, GF16, OD18, FS18, GF5, GF18, CL6
