It depends on the dates. This summer is going to be busy: my daughter is competing for the title of US karate champion and that means a lot of travel all over the US. She is only 12 and I am the chaperon . . .
Let us know your schedule. There's a good chance you'd never have to pay for your own dinner...

If this get-together doesn't interfere with my travel plans to Malaysia, one dinner will be on me Jacques! :D

Hello Leon,

Will we see some pictures? I'm just finishing up some reinforcements under the seats on the hull bottom (inside the *under the seats chambers*) to help if the mini blige keels/handholds ever strike flotsam while sliding along at a good clip. It looks almost as if I have epoxied a water ski into both sides under the front and middle seat sections. With all the trailering I plan, this should also help add strength for much bouncing along between several northeast states, and possibly a trip from NY to Florida for a Bateau gathering (no, I will not sail there from NY in the Caravelle). The boat building cathedral has given me almost an extra month of building temperatures already, well worth all the PVC.

Pictures? No pressure of course... but where are the pictures?

sincerely,
ks

ks,

The weathergods have bailed me out: low pressure's hitting our country. It being low, this means rain, rain, lightning, more rain, thunder... did I mention rain?

Let's see: tomorrow another long day, friday's Queen's Day (lacking a republic :)), gotta squeeze in some social life here and there... I'm afraid you'll have to employ a little imagination for the time being...  :P

No worries mate, pictures will get here...

Jacques,

I hope you will be able to resist all those free meals; all you're going to get from us is a couple of beers and whatever Dick manages to fry on the BBQ...

And a look/feel at some of your designs built, of course!
Greets, Leon Steyns.

Back to the original posting:

The idea is (still) to have another get-together this summer. So far, Strand Nulde has been suggested. Are we still on?

Jacques, any chance you can give us a date?

I still fully intend to come. However, if the get-together will between mid-august and early september I'll be in Malaysia and unable to attend.

I’m still interested ! We bought a trailer last week, so this year I can bring my boat (ready or not) along.

Before anything else, we’ll have to figure out a date as soon as possible …

Leon and Karel: sorry, I can't make. My 12 year old just won a major title in karate and I have to go to the nationals with her this summer.
