Bateau 2003 calendars...
I made a couple of calendars for everybody with Bateau boat images in them. Jacques was gracious enough to post them on the Bateau.com front page.
One is a single page - 171kb - calendar with all months on one page and the larger one - 1.6mb - is one month to a page - 13 pages with the cover.
Both files are Adobe Acrobat PDF documents. You will need the free Acrobat reader to open them and print them out. (Make sure the "Shrink oversize pages to paper size" option is checked if the big calendar´s pages get their edges cropped off.)
The images were all boat shots from the Bateau website.
This´ll jazz up our workshops a bit!
Merry Christmas to all!!!!!

Builder Credits (as they are emailed to me):
May - a Vagabond Plus "Just Right" by Justin Pipkorn
November - a D15 by Mark Oropeza

[ This message was edited by: SparkG on 19-12-2002 18:54 ]

Thanks for the great calendar and making Just Right the Boat of the Month for May 2003.

Just Right placed first in the Small Craft Advisor Cruiser Challenge IV held in Monterey CA. The Vagabond was favorably mentioned in the NOV/DEC issue of the SCA Magazine.

Spark,

Really nice job on the calendars.
We need more months in a year to hold all of Jacques new designs.

Maybe Jacques is shooting for "A new boat every week" type calendar. Should be there soon.

Billy

Someone needs to finish a Maia and a Nina before the end of the year. Don´t you all think the ladies deserve the cover?

Nice job on the calendar.

- Rick Tyler

Way to go Justin! Guess you made it to the finish line just in time. How did you like Monterey? I was lucky enough to be stationed there for a year and a half in late 80´s. Quite the sea going little town, huh?
Jim

Jim,

We finished first in the first race and second in the second race to win overall...is that just in time.

The next SCA CC V will be held again in Monterey July 19-20. Monterey was a great place to sail. The Potter group that put on the event does a great job for a fun "rally" type race.

Just Right may make it to FL this year. I hear that there is a group of trailer sailors planning a trip to Bimini. Since my daughter lives in Atlantic Beach, we thought we might brave the 2500 mile tow and check out the East coast...maybe.
