FS18 fiberglass kits

Post by alextompkins »

I've almost finished cutting all my plywood for the FS18. I'm getting ready to order my epoxy and fiberglass kit and am wondering whether I should save some money and go with the simple epoxy/fiberglass kit or go for the pricier silvertip kit. I'm a college student so saving money is key. If I do go with the cheaper kit are there an extras you would recommend I buy? Like some extra resin or some quickfair? Looking forward to stitching this thing together in the next couple weeks!

go with the regular kit...... use the saving for quickfair and perhaps extra epoxy towards the end of the build

Keep in mind that a 1st time builder always uses to much resin but it is cheaper to waste inexpensive resin than fancy stuff.
