EMC paint

Post by Boater45 »

I'm looking to repaint the hull of my OB-17 with EMC, I'm thinking all I would need is the 99 Series topcoat 1 gal, 99 Series Brushing Activator 32oz and maybe the 99 Series Brushing reducer 1 qt. Is that correct????

Also for the webmaster, the boatbulidercentral.com website has the EMC Brushing Reducer listed as 95 Series and not 99 Series

Sorry for the typo but yes, that is what you need: paint, activator and thinner (reducer).
Those additives are specific for brushing or spraying.
We have all the additives in stock but not all colors. We keep the standard whites and maybe some blue but all others colors are mixed on order because of their limited shelf life. Plan on 2 or 3 days extra for shipping.

What do you mean by "limited shelf life"? What is the shelf life of EMC?

We don't like to store them for more than 3 months.
6 months is OK but not more.
