OB-17 re-paint

I'm prepping my boat for a re-paint, 3 years ago I painted with Interlux Brightsides paint (which is a one part polyurethane).
I just purchased EMC Quantum 99 which is a 2 part polyurethane.

My question is how do I prep? Should I sand down to the primer and start over? Or can I sand it down with 120, get the shine off, make scratch/gouge repairs, apply yacht primer and prep for new paint?

That's up to you but considering the cost of that nice paint, I would give it a good deep sanding and apply primer.
I strongly recommend the System Three primer. We have tested it will all kind of paints including EMC and it is really superior to the paint companies primers. It's an epoxy: great bond, it fills scratches right away, cures fast enough to do 2 or 3 passes a day, sands easily when "fresh" but cures extremely hard after that.
