Finally, someone designs and builds a proper hatch with gutters large enough to actually drain. Nicely done, and good luck with sales.

Thank you. From what i've seen they are about $100 cheaper than others of similar size.

Also, their will be atleast one or two more molds built unless, I find that there is a little demand for them. Then I will make more.

You said that you were making hatches for an FS18, what stage are you in building your boat? I finished my FS18 a few months ago and it's an amazing boat in every way. Exceeded my expectations. Light as a feather, more stable than I could have imagined with its narrow beam, 3" draft empty, probably 4.5" with 2 guys, and poles easier than a Hells Bay Glades skiff I've been fishing from for 4+ years. The first time I went to launch, I unhooked the winch strap, without wetting the tires and the boat started to slide off on its own. At some point I'll learn how to post pictures of my build, I'm proud of the way it turned out, and since I couldn't find any decent hatches I built my own and they came out great. I'm up in Flagler Beach if you're in the early stages of the build and have any questions feel free to contact me or come up for a visit. My email is cowdellm@aol.com Mike

RCC-Skiffs, I left you a voicemail on the telephone number we have on file for you. When you receive this post, give me a call as I would like to discuss your hatches in a little more detail. Thank you, Jeff 772.770.1225
