I don't know what it says for the builder but this thing is a real bear to take apart :!: Cutting out a 1/4 inch of glass is about as easy as it has been

I don't think I've ever seen a thermometer that went down to -60!! I guess there's not much need for them around these parts.

Good luck on dismantling that tank.

Thanks Jeff. At times this is truly a beautiful place to live. But then there are a lot of nice places on this old rock.

It is really tough when you see one pegged out. Makes the old nose hairs crackle

I finally said enough of the messing around and broke out the 7 1/4 skill saw and some carbide blades. Makes a mess but it will cut some glass. I have seen 40 foot hulls cut in half in no time using a circular saw and carbide blades :help:

We have a minus 80 C freezer at work for samples.

What are you cutting now?

A little earlier I removed the glass from to gunnels running down the inside on one side. Still need to do the same on the other side. And I am pretty sure the deck is all coming out while I am at it. No epoxy for a few days so I might as well go ahead and tear something up
Maybe next time I am down your way I can bring my saw and WMD so I can help you do a little finish work

No rest for the weary around here. I ordered more epoxy on Wednesday the 8th. Today I go check the mail and low and behold I have my order. 5 days and 2 of them were weekend days. Pretty darn good service I would say. Looks like it will be back to the transom in the morning.
