Hey Fuzz, I would like to see pictures of the hard top also, but that won't happen until I dig through boxes of old pictures. The build was pre- digital, so they aren't on the computer.

Mike if you ever find the picture please post it. I keep thinking about it and I just know it had to be something to see.

Fuzz, have you got enough space to do a roundish 'bubble' shelter like DAYTRIP, with narrow sole-level passageways either side to get forward to anchor?
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

Hand rails and a safety line for when it's rough.

I agree with Craig. This is a custom made boat I had several years ago. The bow rail kept me out of the water MANY times...

I thought about something like that but I need to be able to run the boat from inside. Even on good days running across the water at 30mph gets to be a little cool. Add in a little rain and the fun goes away quick.
I do like the idea of deck level walkway forward. I am thinking of only making the walkway on one side. Don't need a full walk around like other places.

I thought you were not too sold on handrails for this boat. I do agree they are a big help.

Dang, that is a nice boat :!:

I am thinking about a way to have the head up forward with the door in the front. Solid bulkhead between cabin and head. Total privacy for the girls would make the boss happy. It is hard to squeeze everything in and it not look like crap.

Got some time to ponder on things. Not much boat work happening right now. got a little fight with the flu bug going on. So far it is a tie.

That's exactly the way my current center console is set up. I love it.
